Oops! I just realized I only have a few more hours to spare to get this post written and on the books, so-to-speak. My February goal for the "A Lovely Year of Finishes" Linky party is to complete my Honeycomb Pillow for the stich-along (and the tutorials, for good measure!). I'm sure I won't have any trouble finishing it since we're going to work on this together, but I think February will be a full month as is and it'll be nice to place my focus on this.
Tomorrow I'm going to be posting the materials lists for the three pillow sizes and announcing the sponsors for the stitch-along. There will also be a giveaway of some items you might need to make the project, so make sure to stop by if your planning to join in. :)

I did want to ask a question about the materials:
How long would you like me to wait after announcing the materials needed before posting the first sewing tutorial?
I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of a week, but maybe for the international folks a little longer would be better? What are your thoughts?

A week to ten days sounds good. Di x
ReplyDeleteHmmm, a week sounds good - although for international peeps ordering fabric from the states might need a little longer?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great! I could always use from my stash too. Since I live a long way from all fabric stores, I always keep a lot of fabrics in my house.
ReplyDeleteA week to 10 days is what I think a reasonable amount of time. Looking forward to my first stitch along!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it all done! I think I might even be joining this since you are doing so many techniques I have been wanting to master!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for linking up!!!
DeleteI always love your project pics on your pressing table. I've been thinking lately that I need to make one like yours...
