A Year in {Photo} Review - Part 1

I loved looking back at the monthly mosaics I made during 2012. If I could sum it up in a few words I would say there was a lot of color and a lot of prints!

February 2012

Cerise dominated the first part of the year as I worked away on my Craftsy blocks of the month. This class was a great experience for me and really introduced me to a number of new quilting techniques that I'm happy to have added to my repertoire. I hope to get caught up and finish my BOM quilt early this year.

March 2012

2012 was also the year of embroidery. I made and released a few embroidery patterns and also completed my Just Wing It quilt that included 12 blocks with lots of hand stitched flowers and butterflies. I also jumped head first into designing my own pieced quilt patterns and made several quilt tops featuring my own designs. I even finished a few of them. ; )

April 2012

May 2012

This year I also discovered my love of English Paper Piecing and really found every way possible to mix it into my projects. I think this will continue in full force in 2013 as well!

June 2012

Stay tuned for July through December. : )
