A couple weeks ago I celebrated my one year blogging anniversary. I intended to post about it then and have a little giveaway, but I kept putting it off. You see, I wanted to write something really meaningful about this past year and talk about how much blogging has meant to me, but I just couldn't find quite the right words. In some ways I am actually surprised that it's already been a year. When I started this experiment in blogging I wasn't quite sure how long I would keep at it or if anyone would want to read it, but with each post and comment I found that I was given the unique opportunity to connect with other creative people and be a part of a wonderful community has been a constant source of inspiration for me. Now when I think back over the past year, I realize that I wouldn't give that connection up for the world!
So I would like to say thanks to each of you for giving me your support and encouragement over the past year simply by reading this blog. : ) I don't know what the future will hold for my creative endeavors and goals, but I am excited by the possibilites and truly happy that I will be able to share it all with you!
I thought that I might also have a small giveaway to say thanks! Many of you probably know that I recently started my own pattern shop. The support that this new project has received has been tremendous for me, so I thought what better way to celebrate a year of creative projects than to giveaway a copy of my newest embroidery pattern, Mr. Jack. Personally, I think Jack goes very well with a little Tula Pink "Nightshade", so after pulling a few prints from my stash I decided that this trio would be a very nice accompaniment.
Don't you just love that selvedge too!
So if you would like to win a PDF copy of my Jack O'Lantern Embroidery Pattern and three fat quarters of Nightshade here's how:
- Leave me a comment letting me know what you would like to see me write and share more about here on the blog. Want to see more photos? Interested in tutorials? Can't wait to see how I will bring in more gnomes and mushrooms? Let me know... : )
- After completing #1, you can earn an extra entry by adding me as a favorite or following me at any of my three pattern shops online (let me know in a second comment):
This giveaway is open to everyone and closes on Saturday, October 20th at 10 PM PST . One winner will be selected at random. Odds of winning depend on the number of entires. No purchase is required to enter this contest.
I have also been receiving a fair amount of no-reply blogger comments lately, so please make sure that there is a way to contact you via e-mail either in your comment or linked through your profile. If there is no way to contact the initial winner, another winner will be selected.
