I also can't believe that it's already the end of the 3rd quarter of the year (how did that happen?!) and once again time to link up with Rhonda for the Quilter in the Gap FAL series. How did I do on my goals from this last go around? Let's take a look:
Finished-
(also became Craft Book Month Project)
My secret project for the Winterkist Blog Hop was my Gnomas in the Window quilt top. I really love how this one turned out and had a blast making it, especially with all the hand stitched details. I am hoping to have a chance to work on quilting this some before Christmas, but it probably won't be finished this year.
I had also originally intended to participate in the Craft Book Month blog hop, but due to some unstable travel plans during the month of September (you may remember my canceled trip) and last minute family obligations, I had to drop out. I decided instead to submit my Gnoma quilt top to the open linky party as a way to still participate. Fun fact: Craft Book Month last year was actually one of the catalysts for getting me started on this blog adventure (I can hardly believe it's been one year!).
For my project, I made a fun back-to-school inspired table runner. The tutorial is up on the Sew Lux blog and the corresponding bundle is for sale in the shop.
TRAC Pillow - finish pillow
Done!
Not-Finished-
I did sew quite a bit on this one, but haven't had the time just yet to finish the top. Before Christmas hopefully...
Hope Valley Swoon quilt - make blocks 2-5
I cut out some of the solid pieces I will need to make the rest of the blocks, but need to reconfigure a bit my custom cutting layouts to make sure the fat quarters I have will work since they are "just" 18" x 21".
Farmer's Wife Quilted Box (part 2) - make the leftover block into another storage box
Yup, this didn't happen again, but I'm not sweating it. ;) I'll probably finish this after the New Year.
4th Quarter FAL Goals:
I am going to be pretty extremely ambitious with this list as I have a lot that I hope to complete before Christmas and the end of the year. I currently have lots of fun projects in the works--some that are secret and some that I'll be able to share soon. I have my fingers crossed that I will sew speedily and have few dates with the seam ripper in the coming months. :)
Make block. :) Nice and easy.

Parterre Jardin (Prince Charming) Quilt - quilt and bind
I finished the backing on this one last week and just need to (still!) figure out how the heck I am going to quilt this. I have an abundance of great suggestions with many from you, so I just really need to pick one and go.
I have half of the quilt top sewn and just need to get the rest of those squares sewn together.
Swoon Quilt - make blocks 2-5
My plan is still to make a few blocks here and there and work on finishing this one progressively. I am hoping to make a least three more blocks before the end of the year.
Craftsy BOM Quilt - make complete quilt
I need to get caught up on my blocks and then finish the actual quilt. I am hoping I can do this on schedule.
