Today is overcast and misty, with a brisk coolness in the air. Prior to this week, we were in one of the longest stretches of uninterrupted sunshine in Seattle in a very long time. While I like sunny days and even warmer weather occasionally, lately I have been pining for some cloudy, rainy days. Days that are just meant to be spent inside, wrapped in a warm blanket with some needlework at hand. With the leaves starting to turn, glowing against the backdrop of the low gray sky, today it finally feels like fall to me.
