The title of this post is pretty ominous, but never fear! I'm only referring to the fact that there are less than 100 days left until the end of 2012. So unless you are a diehard believer in the Mayan calendar, it's not the end of the world, ; ) just time to get busy on those projects and year-long goals that haven't quite managed to wrap themselves up yet. And I'm not gonna lie, I have quite a few!
Kelsey, of Kelsey Sews, has decided to make this busy time a little more fun (and hopefully more productive) by hosting a new event called the 100 Day Hustle. It's a linky party for all of those creative loose ends that need tying up before the end of the year. Kelsey also has some fun posts and prizes planned that will help to keep us motivated during the next few months. I have decided to play along and list all of the projects I hope to finish before 2013 arrives:
Personal Projects:
- Finish Parterre Jardin Quilt
- Finish M&C "Plus" Wedding Quilt
- Get Back on the Craftsy BOM Bandwagon (July, August, September...)
- Finish 3 more Swoon Blocks
- Start learning FMQ
For the Shop:
- Christmas Embroidery Pattern(s)
- Figure 8-Scarves
- Felt Ornament Pattern(s)
Tutorials and Blog Hop Projects:
- Travelling PicStitch Blog Hop Block (for Laura and Katy)
- Pellon Project/Tutorial
- Free Spirit Project/Tutorial
- Intrepid Thread Project/Tutorial
I am planning to finish all of these before New Years, although it is a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. We'll see how it goes. : ) What do you hope to check off your list before the end of the year?

Yay another person with Swoon blocks on their list!! Thanks for joining in!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to put together my post! Here's my list of goals: http://needleandnest.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-100-day-hustle.html. It's pretty modest, but I've got a baby on the way... so we'll see what actually gets accomplished. Good luck with yours! :)
ReplyDeleteLots of fun stuff you have planned for the next 97 (!) days. Good luck learning FMQ. I have only done a little, but just ordered Angela Walters new book to help improve my skills. Good luck with the hustle!
ReplyDeleteI know I've seen this scarf here before but wanted to tell you anyway how much I love it. I bet it's the softest thing EVER to wear. AMH flannel and voile? Come ON with the lusciousness. Perfect combo for a cozy scarf!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you can get the list done with a little preparation and planning. Good luck =D
ReplyDeleteOh no it isn't, I refuse to believe it, my head is firmly in the sand! Good luck with your list though :oD
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely tonnes to do but have given up doing lists as the mail man always has different plans when it comes to delivering vital supplies. Good luck Jenelle!
ReplyDeleteYou are so brave to list all you want to finish, I'm afraid!
