It's June 1st already, and I know you've heard me say this before, but where did the time go? May was a busy month for me where I felt like I was constantly switching gears, both in my creative work and in my personal life. As I was putting together my mosaic for May, I noticed that my projects really reflect that too. There are a lot of little bite-sized projects that I worked on here and there before finishing them this month and no real progress on any of the larger works (i.e. quilts) that I have waiting in the wings. My ever-growing stack of quilt tops needs some attention soon I am also noticing, especially if I want to have a few more finishes for my Second Quarter FAL goals. :)
I also cut a mountain of fabric this month for the Orange / Aqua / Grey Mystery Charm Swap. I took lots of photos of the finished charm packs (they were pretty lovely if I do say so!), and I will be sharing them as soon as I hear that all of my swap buddies have received their packages. I don't want to spoil the surprise. :) I really loved the whole process of the swap from selecting the theme and choosing the fabrics to even cutting the charms. It was almost zen working my way through all 28 yards of fabric. No Really! ;) Hopefully I will be hosting another one soon and I'll let you know once I have more details. I would love to hear, in the meantime, if you are interested in a second mystery charm swap. Just leave me a note here if you might be and what theme you would like to see.
Finally, during the craziness that is SMS Giveaway Day week, I was also lucky to be featured over at Craft Foxes as part of their ongoing Handmade Conversations series. I really enjoyed being asked to participate in this fantastic new series and share a little more about myself and my creative process. I hope that if you haven't had a chance yet to check out my interview, you'll stop by for a quick read.
P.S. There are a few projects in the mosaic that I haven't had a chance to share just yet, but I plan to be posting some more info about them soon.
Linking up with Lynne of course for Fresh Sewing Day:

Well, I haven't received my charms yet from this go around but I'll already say I'd be happy if you hosted another one and would jump at the chance! Themes...not my forte, I trust your judgment as usual!
