I wanted to share with you some pics of the ornament I made for my swap partner, Gina, for the Lindsay Sews Holiday Ornament Swap.
The pattern is from Retro Mama and can be found here. I have recently seen a bunch of really cute ornaments made from this tutorial all over blogland, so make sure to check out the Retro Mama flickr group too if you'd like to see some more finished examples!
Love this little blue birdie!
I also made Gina a simple card.
Gina tells me she loves the ornament (yay!) and that it now has a place of honor on one of her Christmas trees. I had such a fun time with this swap and I couldn't have been paired with a sweeter, more talented gal. :) Thanks so much to Lindsay again for organizing such a fun swap!
I also hope you guys have had a chance to swing by both Craft Buds and Lindsay Sews this week to check out the A-MAZ-ING giveaways they are having for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day extravaganza. I have been doing some blog hopping myself in between packing and moving boxes. ;) Fingers crossed!

Aren't these house's cute. I love your version of it! You do beautiful embroidery!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love that tree ornament...does it take long to make? It`s adorable!
ReplyDeleteEeek! It is so cute! I love all the details, like the bird and the house number. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric choices, the embroidered detail, the sweet birdie and the fact that it is personalized with my house number. How lucky was I to have Jenelle as my swap partner!
